Water Filtration Services:
We provide filtration services such as system design, water softening, iron removal, UV disinfection, reverse osmosis, and filter media changeout. Filter Media Changeout
Regular filter media changeouts are essential to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of water treatment systems. Neglecting this maintenance can lead to reduced water quality, decreased flow rates, increased operating costs, and potential health and safety risks. The frequency of media changeouts varies depending on factors such as the type of filter media used, the quality of the incoming water, and the volume of water processed. Water treatment professionals and engineers typically establish a maintenance schedule based on these factors to ensure optimal system performance.
Water Softening
LDW Tech removes hardness minerals, primarily calcium and magnesium ions, from the water supply through a process called Water Softening. Hard water can cause scaling in pipes and appliances and reduce the effectiveness of soap and detergents. Some methods for water softening include: Coagulation, Flocculation, Sedimentation, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Regeneration, Distribution, as well as Rinse & Disposal.
Carbon Filtration
A widely used method for removing impurities and contaminants from water. This process relies on activated carbon, a porous material with a high surface area that can adsorb a wide range of organic and inorganic substances. Carbon filtration is an effective and versatile method for improving the taste, odor, and overall quality of water. However, it may not be suitable for the removal of all contaminants, such as dissolved minerals or heavy metals that do not readily adsorb to activated carbon. LDW Tech specializes in carbon filtration for your treatment plant.
Iron Removal
The process of eliminating iron and iron-related compounds from water sources. Iron is a common naturally occurring contaminant in groundwater and surface water, and it can manifest in various forms, including dissolved ferrous iron and oxidized ferric iron. High levels of iron in drinking water can lead to a range of issues, including staining of fixtures, unpleasant taste and odor, and potential health concerns. LDW Tech offers the iron removal process which aims to reduce the concentration of iron to safe and acceptable levels for human consumption and industrial use.
Design Services
LDW Tech specializes in the design and construction of your water treatment plant. We handle the selection of equipment, processes, and construction methods. In addition, we oversee the design and construction for desalination plants, which use technology to remove salt and other minerals from seawater or brackish water to make it potable.
Reverse Osmosis
We provide reverse osmosis (RO) system design, installation, and maintenance. UV Disinfection
